Fry's Run Watershed Association
April 6, 2010 Minutes

Attendees: Matt Powers, Jeff McGuire, Bob Schmidt, Linda Heindel, Polly Clark. Jim Wilson for the Northampton Conservation District was unable to attend.

          The dates and sites for the Fry's Run water testing were set for 04/17/10 at various times for the area near Matt Power's House, the area off Durham Rd. near Jeff McGuire's house, and the area below Melchor's farm. Bob, Jeff, Matt, and Linda will be taking samples.

          The highway clean-up day has been set for 05/15/10. Those helping with the clean-up will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Deemer and Raubsville Rds. to work their way along the Raubsville Rd cleaning up trash as far as Pektor's farm. Next time we may do a different road that needs help.

          The rain garden workshop will be held 06/12/10 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Williams Township Elementary School. 

          The watershed plan brochure is still pending a date to be mailed with the next Township Newsletter.

          The tabletop display is still pending.

          The farmers' meetings have been shelved in favor of mailing them some "Best Practices" information from Pete Zakanycz.

          Jim had  discussed the possibility of the printer at Lafayette College being able to do our brochure and will let us know the prices after Keri Maxfield mails him the copy.

          The next Fry's Run Watershed Assoc. meeting will be 05/04/10 at 7:00pm.
