March 2, 2010 Minutes

Attendees: Jim Wilson, Jeff McGuire, Bob Schmidt, Linda Heindel, and Polly Clark.
 
       See report dated 03/02/10 from Jim Wilson, Northampton County Conservation District, for details on those projects.

       Current plans include having the building of the rain garden in April and the rain barrel
workshop for some Saturday in May. Jim Wilson will discuss the educational signage for the rain
garden with WREN. He will check with the Williams Township Elementary School to see if some of the students are interested in planting some of the flowers or shrubs with supervision from the adults. He'll be getting a list of appropriate plants.

       The WREN workshop is next week at the Northampton Community College. The Lehigh Conservation workshop is also next week. On 03/20/10 the L.V. Green Builder's Expo is scheduled at NCCC.

       Matt Powers is taking care of the Pa. Assoc. of Watersheds survey. More water testing is
coming up on Fry's Run for which a date will be set at our next meeting, as will the highway cleanup. The PennDot "Adopt-A-Highway" signs will be arriving in March.

       The next meeting of FRWA will be on 04/06/10 at 7:00 p.m.
